Introduction

In order to prepare for the formal scoping meeting for and officially launch WMO Pilot Project on Public-Private Engagement for Smart Meteorological Services in Mega-Cities (PPE-SMSC), a preparatory meeting took place online for two hours and thirty minutes on 15 December 2021 to share information among and seek guidance from the stakeholders. The meeting, which was virtually attended by more than 20 participants, consisted of four parts.
